Would recommend to everyone visiting Florence. Do not be put off if it is quiet at 7pm. It's full of locals by 8pm, the food is incredible, with amazing, friendly service, at low cost. We had pasta, steak, dessert and wine. The best steak and tiramisu I've ever had. I'll come here again!
Our favourite meal and restaurant in Florence, we couldn't pick wrong from seafood to meat, pizza and pasta dishes, everything was delicious, such great value for the price and all served with friendly and attentive service. Would absolutely recommend, especially if you are travelling through Florence as we were. Such a great find!

Recommend to book in advance - by phone looked easier/more established for them but they also have the online system.
Staff were all very friendly. We were the only English people in there - the rest were Italian, which was a good sign! Plenty to choose from on the menu and the dishes tasted great with good portion sizes. Not many soft drinks to choose from - which could be an improvement.

The host of our VRBO recommended this lovely place to us the first night we arrived in Florence. Everything was perfect! The food was outstanding. The house wine was exceptional. The tiramisu.was the best I ever had! We went back multiple times. The prices were so reasonable.

I went to La Ghiotta about 4 years ago, so I forgot the name of restaurant but I kept looking for this store on Google maps and finally found it!!!
Seriously, I couldn’t forget spaghetti all'arrabbiata. It was really good taste that I brought it back to the hotel many times during my trip.
I hope I can eat it again someday and wish this store prosperity from Japan.
The food and service were amazing! Florentine steak was really the highlight :)
Had pasta with clams. So good. Then the chocolate cake with pear, a delicious warm almost flour less chocolate cake. Perfect. Also had the house white wine which was a delight that paired well with the pasta.
An amazing experience. One server had allot to do. But the whole thing was perfection.
